May 18,  · Anniversary package from the mostly bearded trio arrives in June. Texas trio ZZ Top celebrate a half century of blues rockin’ and hard livin’ with a new compilation called Goin’ As you might expect with a title like that, the collection features 50 tracks from Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard and Dusty Hill’s career and their 15 albums, with additional extras to entice fans such as two.

Buy Degüello. ZZ Top came back from an extended break to close out the s with Degüello, their sixth studio orythovcounkebarcpanlighmothurecuns.coing the group itself, this album is as much about an attitude and lifestyle as it is about the actual music (a prime example is that the extended, three year break was used to grow the signature beards of Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill).

This album has a really great atmosphere. The songs don't seem to be about Texas but Bad, Nationwide is a preminition of what was to come with Eliminator. The production is great, I think the best produced ZZ TOP album. EVerything is in perfect proportion. Manic Mechanic is a great off the wall orythovcounkebarcpanlighmothurecuns.cos:

What makes ZZ Top a kitchen-slinger, party-time band from here to the Brazos is that, like Austin's Fabulous Thunderbirds, it's saved white blues from being yesterday's conceit. Or vice versa. No matter–the long-awaited Degüello is just what it looks like: a sidewinder-slick slash in the guts.

In a interview with Spin magazine, ZZ Top bass player Dusty Hill explained the inspiration for this song: "We have a good friend who's a mechanic, and he's just wild. A long time ago, I had this old Triumph car, and it kept messing up real bad, and I asked him over to the house. We had a few beers, and I said, 'Why don't you take a look at my car.'.
